There are 29 of us in first
well. We enjoy sitting around
the new tables as we work. We
can look «t each other. Tables
give us more space
We have New Practice
Readers to use. We read and
look for answers which we
write down. Some of us are
reading from picture cues and
beginning sounds of words. The
Bus took and The Lion's Tail
were fun to read, Mrs Villaume
reads stories and poemi to us,
too, Mrs, Thomas, Miss Got-
Garria work with somt of us in
learning how to use My Little
In Math, words like more,
lew, fewer than, greater than,
equation, equivalent, sets,
above, below, flm, second,
third, and etc. are important to
understand so we can follow
directions and know how to do
things. Our Math workbook is
colorful and has many pagei •
some of them look hard.
In Science we have been
talking about things that
happen In the Fall all around
us. We have a nice collection of
seeds which we are going to
save to plant in the Spring.
Many of us have brought praty
leaves to school.
Two pets came to school,
Jill's puppy, Peppy. He's a
Cocker Spaniel and is black.
Foster's 3% year old brown and
white rabbit, Hippity Hop,
stayed with us all one morning
We like eating lunch in
school. The special Circus
Menu on National School Lunch
Day was very exciting. "The
Greatest Chocholate Chip
and we enjoyed the "Big Top
