1. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS<br />
Refer to HPUK General Requirements VCP 7.2.1 154 for lining stamp, swing tickets, shoe boxes,<br />
restricted substances, packing lists, WWW carton labels and carton requirements.<br />
2. UPC/SKU/PRICE LABELS<br />
2.1 SHOE LABELS<br />
2.1.1 WWW Shoe Labels - not required.<br />
2.1.2 Customer Shoe Labels – supplied by HP Customer Services (produced by Byways).<br />

A self adhesive label must be attached neatly and centrally to the sole in the waist of each shoe<br />
facing the toe (See figure 1).<br />

2.2 SHOE BOX LABELS<br />
2.2.1 WWW Shoe Box Label – supplied by Avery Dennison.<br />
A box end label must be affixed to one end only of each shoe box at the bottom right hand<br />
corner as shown in figure 2. It is essential the lid of the shoe box is placed with the Hush<br />
Puppies logo opposite the WWW shoe box label as shown in Figure 2.<br />
The label must be positioned in such a way that the lid does not cover any part of the<br />
label.<br />
The UK size refers to the size the shoes have been ordered on the Purchase Order. Other<br />
sizes shown are conversions.<br />
Some labels may be produced without a line drawing. These should be used unless<br />
otherwise advised by HPUK Merchandising.<br />

2.2.2 Customer Shoe Box Label – supplied by HP Customer Services (produced by Byways).<br />

A box end label must be affixed to one end only of each shoe box(opposite end to the WWW<br />
shoe box label) at the bottom right hand corner as shown in Figure 3. It is essential the lid of<br />
the shoe box is placed with plain end visible as shown in Figure 3.<br />

3.2 CUSTOMER CARTON LABELS – Continued<br />
Carton labels should be A5 size and placed centrally on the end of the carton as shown in figure 5.<br />

4. PACKING CARTONS<br />
The following carton sizes are acceptable (External Dimensions):-<br />

BDCM1 – 600 x 300 x 400mm<br />
BDCM2 – 400 x 300 x 400mm<br />
BDCM3 – 600 x 300 x 200mm<br />
BDCM4 – 400 x 300 x 200mm<br />
Maximum carton size is 600 x 330 x 400mm (External Dimensions).<br />
Minimum carton size is 400 x 250 x 200mm (External Dimensions).<br />
Sizes should not be mixed (one size per carton).<br />
Cartons should not exceed 13.0kg gross filled weight.<br />
Cartons should be ‘H’ shape sealed top and bottom with self adhesive tape at least 50mm<br />
wide (as figure 5).<br />
The joint in the carton must be glued, NO staples to be used. (See example in Fig 6)<br />
Banding is not permitted on cartons.<br />
