- EC number and EC name (if available);<br />
- CAS number and CAS name (if available);<br />
- IUPAC name;<br />
- Description (specify any additional information relevant for the description of the<br />
Reference substance (i.e. description of the manufacturing process) in this field, if<br />
necessary);<br />
- If only the IUPAC name is indicated it is recommended <strong>to</strong> include the “Molecular<br />
and Structural formula(s) (including SMILES notation, if available)” or a “Remark”<br />
in the related field;<br />
- If only the IUPAC name is indicated it is recommended <strong>to</strong> include the “Molecular<br />
Weight” or the “Molecular Weight range”.<br />

To include the structural formula (optional), go <strong>to</strong> “Structural formula”, under<br />
“Molecular and structural information” and click the but<strong>to</strong>n. You can then<br />
upload an image file with the structural formula (Figure 15).<br />
