Special conference rates of $235 per night for Deluxe rooms and $195 per night for Standard rooms are available to delegates including full buffet breakfast served in Red Salt Restaurant. Minimum of 2 people required, Maximum of 21 people. 7 Kangaroo Island Highlights Day Tour From Adelaide (Daily Departures) Explore Kangaroo Island's wilderness areas and wildlife sanctuaries on the Kangaroo Island Highlights full day tour departing Adelaide with return coach and ferry transfers to/from Kangaroo Island. Travel to Seal Bay where you will enjoy a beach walk among a breeding colony of Australian Sealions. Guided by a National Parks Guide, this really is the experience of a lifetime. After a two-course lunch we head to Flinders Chase National Park for the rest of the afternoon. Walk along the rugged southern coastline on specially constructed walkways to Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch. Admirals Arch boardwalk takes you down a rugged cliff face to confront a spectacular rock arch and a nursery haven for fur seals. Your Kangaroo Island Highlights experience comes to a conclusion at ferry terminal for your return journey to Adelaide. General Information Car Parking Car parking is available at the U-Park on the corner of Rundle and Pulteney Streets (entry via Rundle St). This car park opens at 6.30am and shuts at 12 midnight. Parking from up to and including 1 hour is $3.10, 1-2 hours is 6.10 and 2-3 hours $9.70. Beyond this time a discounted car parking rate of $9.00 per day at U-Park is available by presenting a discount card which can be collected from the hotel front desk upon departure. Dress Standards Smart casual dress is suggested for the Conference sessions and Welcome and Farewell Receptions. Business attire is requested for the Conference Dinner. Temperature Adelaide has a perfect Mediterranean climate characterised by warm dry summers and cool mild winters. For the month of November Adelaide’s average temperature is 25.1°C. Local Transport The Adelaide Airport is situated 7km from the central business district and major hotels. Buses Skylink Adelaide shuttle runs between the airport and major hotels every half hour from 7.00am – 10.00pm (hourly on weekends) at a cost of approximately $8.50 one way and $14.00 return. Metro Adelaide is the public transport system with a one way bus fare costing approximately $4.00 Taxis A taxi from the airport to the city is approximately $20.00. Name Badges All delegates, sponsors and day registrants will be issued with a name badge at registration. Admittance to all sessions and social functions included in the registration fee will require presentation of your badge. 8 Registration Desk All delegates must register to attend the Conference. The registration and information desk will be located in the Foyer on the 15 th Floor, Crowne Plaza Adelaide, and will be open during the following hours: Sunday 14 November 4.00pm-6.00pm Monday 15 November 8.00am-5.00pm Tuesday 16 November 8.30am-5.00pm Privacy Policy The All Occasions Group (encompassing All Occasions Management and Travelscene at All Occasions) complies with all legislation which is designed to protect the rights of the individual to privacy of their information, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Information collected with respect to your registration for participation in this Conference will only be used for the purposes of planning, conduct of the event or communication regarding future events. These details may be made available to parties directly related to the Conference including but not limited to the All Occasions Group, venues, accommodation and travel providers (for the purposes of room/travel bookings and Conference options), key sponsors (subject to strict conditions) and other related parties as deemed necessary. It is also usual practice to produce a ‘Delegate List’ of attendees at the Conference and to include the individual’s details in such a list. By completing this registration form, you acknowledge that the details supplied by you may be used for the above purposes. It is your responsibility to ensure that all information provided to the All Occasions Group is accurate and kept up to date. Liability/Insurance In the event of industrial disruptions or natural disasters, Australian Institute of Energy (AIE), the Organising Committee, and All Occasions Group cannot accept responsibility for any financial or other losses incurred by the delegates. The Australian Institute of Energy (AIE), the Organising Committee and the All Occasions Group take no responsibility for injury or damage to persons or property occurring during the Conference. All insurance, including medical cover, or expenses incurred in the event of the cancellation of the Conference is the individual delegate’s responsibility. Attendees are encouraged to choose a travel insurance policy that includes loss of fees/ deposits through cancellation of your participation in the Conference, or through the cancellation of the Conference itself, loss of airfares for any reason, medical expenses, loss or damage to personal property, additional expenses and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered. The Conference Secretariat will take no responsibility for any participant failing to insure.
