The 2007 edition of Counselor’s exclusive listing of the suppliers
with the highest revenues during 2006.
Nearly half-a-billion dollars.
That’s how much
revenue the biggest
supplier in the industry
garnered last year.
Broder Bros. Co., the parent company
of industry brands Alpha Shirt
Company, Broder and NES, raked
in $447 million in North American
ad specialty sales in 2006. And that
was down 2% from the prior year, yet
still over $100 million more than the
second-largest supplier.
Welcome to the 2007 supplier
Top 40, which ranks the industry’s
suppliers with the most revenue
for 2006. While Broder remains
the top company in the market,
the giant apparel supplier is closely
followed by a newcomer to the list.
Polyconcept North America was
formed last year when the European-based
Polyconcept combined
North American suppliers Leed’s
and Bullet Line into one entity.
The combined operation reports
2006 revenues of $343.1 million.
All together, this year’s Top 40
suppliers attained $4.2 billion in
2006 revenues. It’s quite a haul for
such a small group of companies.
