LED Marine Lantern
LEDmin MKII
The PINTSCH BAMAG electrical marine lantern type
LEDMIN MKII is intended for operation in rough maritime
environments. The LED technology combines low power
consumption with high light output and long service life and
guarantees long maintenance intervals. The vertical light
distribution can be adapted by selecting various type of
lenses.
The LEDMIN MKII is intended for use on floating and fixed
marine aids to navigation.
The wide vertical angle of the LEDMIN MKII 10°- Wide
offers much more even visibility, specially in high waves,
when mounted on buoys.
Application
Marine lantern for fixed or floating
Aids to Navigation for the marking of
fairways, channels, harbor entries and
marine obstructions.
• Operating life of the LED up to
100,000 hours
• Monitoring of each individual LED
• Failure output
• Processor controlled monitoring of
the LED temperature directly at the
heat sink. When the temperature
does exceed the limit (max. 80°C /
176°F), the output power of the
lantern will reduce to 50% of it’s
nominal value to avoid degrading of
the LED’s.
• Adjustable daylight switch settings
(preset to120lux)
• Adjustable light intensity 10%-100%
• Monitoring of the supply voltage with
adjustable limit values.
• Light phase synchronization by a
digital signal (e.g. radio, GPS, etc.)
• Parameterization and
deactivation/activation via IR remote
control or PB-Bus Interface (PC,
CoDeSy MKII RTU, etc.).
• Seawater resistant aluminum
housing (AIMg-Si), coated
• Lens is made from UV resistant and
sturdy polycarbonate
• Watertight plug connectors
(Schaltbau M1 series, 5 or 7-pole)
Optional:
• Wireless remote control for
operating test
• Integrated AIS-Aton Transponder
