The flooding model makes use of static data layers that should be available within INSPIRE at<br />

European scale, such as l<strong>and</strong> use, soil type <strong>and</strong> texture, river network. The flooding model simulates<br />

canopy <strong>and</strong> surface processes, soil <strong>and</strong> groundwater system processes <strong>and</strong> flow in the river channel.<br />
