With GROHE CoolTouch® technology, the entire
outer surface of our Grohtherm 2000 and 3000
thermostats never exceeds the temperature of the
shower water. An innovative cooling channel and
special couplings where the hot water enters the
thermostat creates a barrier between the hot water
and the chrome surface, so there’s no risk of
scalding yourself on a hot chrome surface – a real
plus not only for families with young children.
With GROHE CoolTouch®, a sandwich layer of cold water
prevents the chrome surface from getting dangerously hot.
GROHE EcoJoy
When it comes to saving water in the shower, every
drop counts. Our shower thermostats feature an
EcoButton on the handle – allowing the user to
choose when to save water. When activated, the
button reduces water usage by up to 50% without
sacrificing enjoyment – just less water, same
perfect flow.
GROHE TurboStat®
The outstanding precision of GROHE TurboStat®
technology also contributes to water saving – e.g.
should there be a drop in the water pressure
during your shower, the fast reaction time of
GROHE TurboStat® technology means that the
thermostat re-adjusts the temperature for you –
so you don’t have waste time (or water) manually
adjusting the shower control.

GROHE thermostats are the proven winners
LGA QualiTest GmbH, a subsidiary of TÜV
Rheinland, carried out a major product test in
2006 that compared 17 thermostats from leading
European manufacturers. In all classes our
Grohtherm 3000, 2000 and 1000 thermostats
each achieved 1st place. Thanks to
GROHE TurboStat® and GROHE CoolTouch®
technologies, our Grohtherm 3000 won best
product in the entire test – achieving the top
position in all four test categories.
