*The values presented in this table assume a real ear unaided response (REUR) approximating<br />

published average adult values (Shaw and Vaillencourt, 1985). Furthermore, if audiometric data<br />

have been collected using 3A insert earphones (in dB HL), the above values assume an average<br />

adult real-ear-to-coupler difference.<br />
