Kansas’ 150th Birthday Celebration<br />

Marysville Chamber of<br />

Commerce to host celebration.<br />

January 29, 2011 marks 150<br />

years of statehood for Kansas.<br />

Kansas 150 is a grassroots<br />

effort among state agencies,<br />

communities and individuals<br />

across the state to educate<br />

Kansans about their heritage<br />

and commemorate the 150<br />

milestone. The Marysville<br />

Mark and Barb Chaffee, of<br />

Salina, and Jim and Shelli<br />

Osborne, of <strong>Blue</strong> <strong>Rapids</strong> are<br />

pleased to announce the<br />

upcoming marriage of their<br />

children, Megan Chaffee and<br />

Kelsey Osborne.<br />

Megan is the granddaughter<br />

of Harold Chaffee of Lincoln,<br />

NE and also the late Wilma<br />

Chamber of Commerce is planning<br />

a day of family friendly<br />

activities in Marysville on<br />

Saturday, July 2nd:<br />

Guided Canoe Trips on the<br />

Big <strong>Blue</strong> River will be offered<br />

for $5.00 per person. “In order<br />

to make plans for the trips, preregistration<br />

is required,” said<br />
