The UVscenic system incorporates an Ultraviolet treatment and a low concentration (from1,5gr NaCl/l) SALT ELECTROLYSIS system.<br />
Together they achieve an integral water processing of chlorination and algae elimination without chemical products.<br />
The Ultraviolet system submits to the water to the radiation UV-C of a wave length of 253,7 nanometers, produced by a special lamp.<br />
This radiation neutralizes the bacteria, virus and other primary organisms detaining their reproduction. With this system we reduce the<br />
consumption of chlorine or oxidizers up to 80%.<br />
Hydrolysis: Water (H2O) consists of two parts 2Hydrogen (H2) and 1 part of Oxygen (O). Of origin Hydrolysis means “splitting water”.<br />
When electric tension is going through the water, the chemical connection will be broken. The negative loaded oxygen (or ions) will<br />
move to the positive electrode (anode) With the following electrochemical reaction:<br />
Electric tension + 2 H2O = 2 H2 + O2<br />
With Hydrolysis there are also other chemical reactions that take place. It will also produce specific ions that can oxidize and do<br />
additional disinfecting work. The table down below shows the different Redox potential values of the elements that are produced by<br />
hydrolysis in compare with other oxidizing elements.<br />
The UV-Scenic comes with a UV-C lamp (2 x 55 watt), pH sensor with automatic pH dosing pump and a redox sensor that<br />
controls the operation of the hydrolysis. For further options, see page 26. Hydrolise unit has a Ø63mm connection.<br />
