PowerSub 315<br />
POWERED SUBWOOFER<br />
The PowerSub 315 is an<br />
powered vented subwoofer<br />
featuring the novel High-Speed<br />
Laminar Vent design.<br />
Weighing a mere 45 kg, the lightweight<br />
enclosure accommodates<br />
all the electronics and audio processors<br />
in addition to the switchable<br />
stereo crossover (80 Hz / 100 Hz /<br />
160 Hz) and four Class D power<br />
amplifi er blocks delivering a combined<br />
output of 2000 W.<br />
This is the ideal centerpiece for a<br />
high-powered satellite system.<br />
Two bridged blocks provide the<br />
integrated 15“ DYNACORD LFS<br />
1008 subwoofer with a total of<br />
1,000 W (RMS) / 8 Ω and 2 x 500 W<br />
(RMS) / 4 Ω are made available to the<br />
connected satellites.<br />
The subwoofer level is continuously<br />
adjustable and you can select between<br />
three different sub / satellite<br />
crossover frequencies ranging<br />
from 80 Hz to 160 Hz. To provide<br />
particularly powerful reinforcement<br />
of the low frequency range, two<br />
passive (e.g. DYNACORD Sub 115)<br />
subwoofers can be driven by the<br />
PowerSub 315. In this mode, the<br />
integrated sub power amplifiers<br />
POWERSUB 315<br />
are switched over from 1 x 1000 W /<br />
8 Ω to 2 x 500 W / 4 Ω. In a fullyexpanded<br />
system, the PowerSub<br />
315 can drive a total of four 8 Ω<br />
satellites and an additional two<br />
passive 8 Ω subwoofers without<br />
any difficulty.<br />
Packed in an extremely robust but<br />
compact multiply birch multiplex<br />
enclosure with castors included<br />
in the delivery, the PowerSub 315<br />
offers easy transport and safe<br />
handling. An M20 threaded adapter<br />
for a mounting pole is integrated<br />
into the bowl handle on top of the<br />
subwoofer.<br />
