Early Ordering of Snow and Ice Melting Products
In preparation for the winter season, postal sites should
review their stock of snow and ice melting products and
ensure orders are placed in a timely manner. Our strategic
partner and national contract supplier, High Country Chemical
Supplies, Inc., has identified three distinct geographic
zones across the United States. These zones indicate recommended
product lines and related pricing. Please refer to
the Material Logistics Bulletin MLB-CO-02-001, http://
blue.usps.gov/purchase/_pdf/ops_mlb02-001.pdf, for zones
and ordering and product information.
Please place your order through eBuy. eBuy pricing
reflects a 5 percent discount for all snow and ice melting
products ordered by October 20 as well as additional discounts
for larger quantities.
Products should be ordered in accordance with the
zone prefix where the receiving office is located. To order
