Fugato Compact is a range of miniaturised fixed (260 series),
cardanic (264 series) and fully internally/externally adjustable (262
series) recessed downlights intended for retail applications.This part
of the range accommodates miniature halogen and compact
discharge lamps for accent lighting.The platform cut-out is 175 mm.
Optical variation is offered by means of Fugato’s ‘dual optic’ concept.
The top optic is made of high-gloss aluminium and ensures 12º, 24º
or 36º beam control. In the Fugato concept there is a seamless
transition from the lower optic (matt and white) to the rim,
rendering a clean visual articulation of the luminaire when installed
in the ceiling.
The fixed version (MBS260) is offered with a flood optic (60º) for
general lighting. Furthermore, gold optics (24º and 36º) are available
in the adjustable and cardanic versions (MBS262/264), especially for
food applications, to make the merchandise look even more fresh.
Lamp, gear and accessories are delivered with the luminaire.

Technical description
• Power supply:
230 V or 240 V (MBS260/262/264)
12 V (LBS262/254)
QBS260/264 are on mains voltage.
• Gear: conventional compensated (IC) and electronic ballast (EB)
for discharge lamps and electronic transformers (ET) for halogen
lamps
• Gearbox remote from luminaire; connection between gearbox
and luminaire with 3-pole Wieland connector
• Lamp position: vertical (base-up)
• Orientation:
Compact Adjustable (MBS/LBS262): 357° horizontal, 80° external
and 40° internal adjustability
Compact Cardanic (MBS/QBS/LBS264): 357° horizontal and 40°
vertical
• Materials: die-cast aluminium housing, stainless-steel mounting
frame, silver/gold aluminium reflector
.• Colour: white (RAL 9010) for fixed versions and white (RAL
9010), grey and RAL colours for adjustable and cardanic versions
Installation
• Cut-out: ø 175 mm.
• Mounting: install mounting frame, make electrical connection and
place optical unit into mounting frame. Luminaire including lamp
and accessory can be installed directly into the ceiling.
• Thickness of false ceiling: 1 - 24 mm.
• Maintenance: remove front to replace the lamp (CDM-T/CDM-Tc);
others have direct access.
