Fugato Performance is a range of fixed recessed downlights with
highly efficient optics intended for high-ceiling applications.This part
of the range is meant for highly demanding applications where
luminous flux, glare limitation and efficiency are key.This platform is
designed for general lighting with compact fluorescent lamps.The
platform cut-out is 225 mm.The lamp portfolio consists of MASTER
PL-C and PL-T lamps.
Fugato Performance proposes standard-height (FBS270) and lowheight
luminaires (FBS271). Optical variation is offered by means of
Fugato’s ‘dual optic’ concept.The top optic is made of high-gloss
aluminium. In both versions (standard and low height), the lower
polymer optic can be specified in a high-gloss, mat satin or white
finish.The high-gloss (C) version complies with the UGRR19 norm
(in accordance with EN12464-1, Lm < 1 000 cd/m 2 at γ > 65°)
without louvre (standard height) and when used with the innovative
round louvre (low height). In the Fugato concept there is a seamless
transition from the lower optic to the rim, rendering a clean visual
articulation of the luminaire when installed in the ceiling.
As well as being offered in the dual-optic version (with optical
variation in the lower optic), the low-height version is also available
in a fully metallised polymer version (FBS273).This single-optic
downlight, with similar cut-outs, has lower optical qualities, fewer
accessories and more limited choice of lamps.
Emergency lighting (EL3 and EL1) is offered for PL-C lamps (one
lamp maintained for 3 hours/1 hour respectively).
Lamps, gear and accessories are delivered with the luminaire.
Decorative accessories will be delivered separately.

Technical description
• Power supply: 230 V or 240 V
• Gear: conventional compensated (IC), HF-Performer (HF-P),
HF-Regulator (HF-R) and HF-Dali (HF-D). HF-TouchDim available
upon request.
• Gearbox remote from luminaire
• Prepared for through-wiring
• Lamp position: horizontal
• Materials: die-cast aluminium top reflector, stainless-steel mounting
frame, polycarbonate lamp holder box and lower optic; fully
metallised polymer version (FBS273) made of polycarbonate
• Colour of the rim: white (RAL 9010) and (light) grey
Installation
• Cut-out: ø 225 mm.
• Mounting: install mounting frame, make electrical connection and
place optical unit into mounting frame. Luminaire including lamp
and accessory can be installed directly into the ceiling.
• Protection foil is optional for PL-C versions.
• Thickness of false ceiling: 1 - 24 mm.
• Maintenance: optics are closed on the top side; access from below
for lamp replacement.
