Local Governance Report – December 2010<br />
1. On 09 December, District Administrator coordinated the meeting with the national<br />
task force team to evaluate the progress of the 22 DDP-projects in Viqueque district.<br />
2. On 11 December, District Administrator inaugurated clean water supply at Suco<br />
Uabubo in Ossu sub-district. The project has benefited about 208 families (about 3500<br />
people) of three Sucos: Uabubo, Uagia and Ossorua.<br />
3. On 15 December, District Administration conducted coordination meeting with<br />
district staff and local construction companies to form a Christmas party organizing<br />
committee in Viqueque district.<br />
4. On 20 December, District Administrator officially opened a seminar organized by the<br />
Association of F-FDTL families in Viqueque district.<br />
5. On 30 December, District Administration coordinated to organize the Christmas party<br />
in the district. About 200 people including district staff, district PNTL officials and<br />
local businessmen were present in the Christmas gathering.
