December 2010
1. On 07 December, OPMT, the women‟s wing of Fretilin, organized district
coordination meeting to consolidate its structure and to elect members for district
structure.
2. On 08 December, Baucau Science Teacher Association with Monash University
opened a geology exhibition in a local primary school.
3. On 11 December, CNJTL (National Youth Council) organized a seminar on youth as
part of the commemoration of memorial event of 12 November Santa Cruz Massacre.
4. On 10 December, Timor Leste Centre for Civic Education, a local NGO base in
Baucau conducted a workshop in Lacolio village on Children Rights.
5. On 10 December, the Asia Foundation held a meeting with Suco chief to initiate the
establishment of Suco association.
6. On December 16, FONGTIL facilitated and held its regular meeting with members of
CSO, district administration and PNTL commander in Baucau district hall.
