Peer-to-Peer
• Goal: To give PHS students an opportunity to
listen, reflect, and respond to a speaker from
an outside agency who has experienced the
tragic consequences of alcohol and drug abuse
and found happiness and healing in recovery.
These speakers may have subsequently
completed a licensed recovery program and are
helping others to live a substance-free life.

• Process: A speaker is arranged through a
partnership with Libertae and Livengrin.
• Background about speakers and Libertae.
• Target Audience:
Peer-to-Peer
– Twilight alternative school students
– Referrals to the Student Assistance Team (SAP).

Peer-to-Peer
• Format: speaker talks for about thirty minutes.
• Question and answer session at the conclusion
of the speech.
• Follow-up in mentoring groups.
• Key to success: dynamic peer speaker.

Peer-to-Peer
• Evaluation: confidential survey
• Data is reviewed by the committee
