Golf Tournament<br />
The <strong>Eglin</strong> Golf Course Fall Stableford<br />
will be held on Sep. 12, shotgun start<br />
at 7:30 a.m. Cost is $20 per player,<br />
cart and green fees not included.<br />
Contestants must have an established<br />
GHIN handicap to participate. This<br />
will be an individual event using the<br />

Link Up 2 Golf<br />
The AF Link Up 2 Golf program is an<br />
affordable way for adult beginners to<br />
receive proper instruction from PGA<br />
professionals. Cost is $49 for three<br />
sessions on Sep. 22-24, 5-7 p.m., at the<br />
<strong>Eglin</strong> Golf Course. Instruction will<br />
cover golf etiquette and all aspects of<br />
the golf swing and short game. Plenty<br />
of golf goodies are included, plus<br />
complimentary club rental if needed.<br />

New Tee Time System<br />
The <strong>Eglin</strong> Golf Course has a new<br />
Tee Time System offering customers<br />
the ability to schedule their tee times<br />
online. To register for this convenient<br />
new service, go to this web address:<br />
www.computee.net/?aa=1190 and<br />
follow the instructions given. (Valid<br />
e-mail address is required to register.)<br />
Once registered, golfers will be able<br />
to make tee times 3 days in advance.<br />
For active duty, dues payers, and DoD,<br />
visit the Pro-Shop after registering to<br />
receive your appropriate days out, as<br />
well as a 5 digit PIN number for use in<br />
making reservations through the new<br />

Hands-On Boater<br />
Safety Course<br />
Every Saturday, 9-11 a.m., a Hands-<br />
On Boater Safety Course is offered at<br />
<br />
and skills needed to operate ski and<br />
pontoon boats. All training materials<br />
and equipment are provided. Boater<br />
Safety Cards are issued to participants<br />
upon completion. Cost is $25 per<br />
person. Registration is required 24<br />
hours in advance. Class size is limited<br />
to 8 students. Walk-ins are welcome if<br />

PCS FamCamp<br />
Reservations<br />
Are you making a PCS move? If so,<br />
<strong>Eglin</strong>’s Family Campgrounds will<br />
accept space reservations up to 30<br />
days prior to your planned stay. Offer<br />
is available to military and civilians<br />
on PCS orders. When making a<br />
reservation, bring a copy of your<br />
orders, or fax a copy to 883-1242.<br />
PCS spaces are limited. <strong>Eglin</strong>’s<br />
FamCamps at Postl Point and Camp<br />
Robbins offer RV spaces, tent sites,<br />
and fully equipped RV lodging at low<br />
nightly, weekly, even monthly rates.<br />
Bath houses, restrooms, laundromats,<br />
propane service and other amenities<br />

<strong>Eglin</strong> Beach Park<br />
The <strong>Eglin</strong> Beach Park, located on<br />
Okaloosa Island at the foot of the<br />
Destin Bridge, is open to all base<br />
personnel and their guests, 9 a.m.-8<br />
p.m. daily through Sep. 7, then 10<br />
a.m.-5 p.m. until Nov. 1. Admission<br />
fee is $2 per vehicle. The park features<br />
direct access to the Gulf with 4 large<br />
pavilions, central deck area and two<br />
sets of restrooms with showers. One<br />
pavilion is available for reservations<br />
by contacting Outdoor Recreation.<br />
Reservation fee is $200 with a $50<br />

<strong>Eglin</strong> Yacht Club & Dive Flight<br />
The <strong>Eglin</strong> Dive Flight conducts<br />
PADI SCUBA classes for all<br />
levels, beginner to Divemaster.<br />

equipment is included; students<br />
