2206. Langford Greene Berry, bom, Berhn, N. Y.,.June 19, 1812, married, (i) at<br />

Albion, N. Y., September, 1841, Mary Ann, daughter <strong>of</strong> Joseph and Lucy<br />

(Kirtland) Hart, bom June 2, 18— , died May 8, 1849. He married (2), at<br />

Adrian, Mich., Margaret, daughter <strong>of</strong> Thomas D. Ramsdell, and married (3)<br />

Betsey Coit, who died at Adrian, where he resided from 1837 to 1867. He<br />

died at Oakland, Cal., April 3, 1878. Children by first marriage: (i) Benj.<br />

Hart Berry, bom August 20, 1842 ; (2)<br />

Emily Alice Berry, born March 19,<br />

1844, married, December 25, 1867, Schuyler Fisk Seager, a prominent<br />

lawyer <strong>of</strong> Lansing, Mich. She died, Springfield, Mass., September 27,<br />

1879; had James Benjamin Seager, bom December 10, 1868; Harry<br />

Rogers Seager, born July 21, 1870; Schuyler Fisk Seager, Jr., born January<br />

22, 1S79; (3) Ma7-y Hart Berry, born February 6, 1849, died January 26,<br />

1863. By second marriage: (4) Gertrude Berry, married Schuyler F. Seager,<br />

widower <strong>of</strong> her half-sister, Emily Alice. By third marriage: (5) Langford<br />

Greene Berry, Jr., bom 1862, died, at El Paso, Texas, November 20,<br />

1S82.<br />

2207. Ambrose Spencer Berry, born, Berlin, N. Y., August 12, 1814; was a merchant<br />

at Adrian, Mich., where he removed <strong>with</strong> his parents in 1836. He<br />

married, at Albion, N. Y., August 19, 1839, Lucy, daughter <strong>of</strong> Joseph<br />

and Lucy (Kirtland) Hart, sister <strong>of</strong> his brother Langford's first wife; born<br />

January 22. 18 14. <strong>The</strong>ir two dattghters both died in infancy. He died<br />

at Corning, Ark., September 3, 1878.<br />

220S. Judith JuLETTA Berry, bom, Berlin, N. Y., February 18, 1816, married, at<br />

Rome, Mich., July 14, 1842, John Bogari Schurman. He died in 1879, and<br />

his widow continued to reside in Michigan.<br />

2209. Abigail Emily Berry, bom, Berlin, October 28, 1818, married, January i,<br />

1850, Jonathan Stanton Parke, son oi Shubael Parke, bom, Preston, Conn.,<br />

June 12, 1803, died at Adrian, Mich, (where they resided), August 3, 1869.<br />

He was a lineal descendant <strong>of</strong> Robert Parke, who came from England, 1630,<br />

settled at Roxbury, Mass., and thence removed to Wethersfield, Conn.,<br />

about 1637. Children: (i) Ann Witter Parke, bom February 14, 1851;<br />

(2) Ambrose Berry Parke, bom November 12, 1852, merchant <strong>of</strong> Adrian,<br />

married, November ig, 1879, Emma Maria, daughter Charles Young <strong>of</strong><br />

Adrian, born April 26, 1S57, had Robert Charles, born August 22, 1S80, and<br />

Frederick Edwin, born July 2, 1888; (3) Emily Berry Parke, bom August<br />

20, 1855, died November S, 1856; (4) Ida Parke, born June 6, 1858; (5)<br />

Charles Sumner Parke, born February 16, 1861.<br />

1072. GEORGE * GREENE (Langford =, Joseph,^ John ^ James %<br />

John'), eldest son, bom about 1792. He married Sarah (Sally) Reeves,<br />

and died at Berlin, N. Y., aged about fortv.
