TALK 2 - Finding the Brass - What the Facility Can Do - Processor’s release occurred from a<br />

brass fitting, which is not allowed in ammonia systems. Learn how to inspect for brass components.<br />

(For a few, brave souls, special hands-on learning will be offered during this talk in a<br />

TALK 3 - Finding the Brass - Prevention and Contractors – Every facility needs to be aware<br />

of contractor work and worker safety that is performed on site. If a contractor installs a brass<br />

fitting and a failure occurs the facility is liable. Facilities need to ensure that their contactor<br />

qualification program is up to date and any work that is performed is inspected. - SPEAKER TO<br />

the Fire Department and CUPA in good time, yet faced EPA fines. Learn how to prepare<br />
