Musical Program for the Elderly
A suggestion has been made by congregant
Jodi Feldman to form a group of children who
would like to play their musical instruments for
the elderly at the Federation Apartments or the
Jewish Geriatric Home on a regular basis. The
residents would be thrilled, and the children
would be able to showcase their talent. Great
idea! If you and your children are interested,
please call Jodi at 856-797-5380.
ACH Has Come to TBS!
But what is ACH?
ACH stands for Automated Clearing
House, and it’s how financial transactions
are moved electronically and
automatically. When you sign up for direct
payment to Temple Beth Sholom, each of
your membership dues payments come by
ACH and is automatically paid on the
predetermined monthly date you choose.
So, after your 50% dues deposit, you
no longer have to pay your balance by
check or credit card. You can have
payments made directly from your bank
account.
TBS and Commerce Bank have put into
place a safe and secure system to pay
your dues, while at the same time
reducing costs for the synagogue.
Do you need to change your bank
account? No. Although TBS banks with
Commerce, the funds are taken directly
from your account, no matter which
institution you bank with. Maybe you’re
already paying your mortgage or utility
bills via ACH.
ACH costs you nothing while helping
TBS realize cost savings by reducing
credit card charges and postage costs,
and by improving our overall cash flow.
Want to sign up? Call Jerry Ackerman at
the synagogue office at 751-6663.
