Fourche, died Sunday March 14,
2010 at the Rapid City Regional
Hospital in Rapid City.

Almida "Mida" Y. Hester, 97,
Rapid City and formerly of
Whitewood, died Friday, March 12,
2010 at the Yolden Living Center in
Rapid City.
Visitation will be 1 p.m. until
time of services on Thursday at the
Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m.

Clem immediately fled the scene after witnesses called 911 and was arrested
shortly thereafter. No injuries were reported.
According to an indictment filed on March 9, the state is charging him
with aggravated assault, commission of a felony while armed, possession of
loaded firearm while intoxicated, carrying a concealed weapon, driving under
revocation, driving while under the influence of an alcoholic beverage and
driving with .0, percent or more by weight of alcohol in blood.
Aggravated assault is a Class 3 Felony, which is punishable with up to 15
years in prison anddor a $30,000 fine. Commission of a felony while armed
with a firearm is a Class 2 Felony and punishable with up to 25 years in
prison anddor a $50,000 fine.
Staci Reindl of Spearfish was appointed as his attorney.
She set a non-evidentiary motions hearing at 10:30 a.m. on April 15 at the
Butte County Courthouse.

Irvin Emil Thie, 76 of
Spearfish died Saturday,
March 13, 2010 at Fort Meade
VA Medical Center.
Memorial services will be
at 11 a.m., on Friday, March
19, 2010 at Fidler-Isburg
Funeral Chapel in Spearfish.
Burial with full military honors
will take place at Black
Hills National Cemetery near
Sturgis.
A second memorial service
will be held in his hometown
of Batesville, IN at the United
Church of Church on June 4,
2010.

Irvin was born on Dec. 7,
1933 to Alfred and Flora
(Meyer) Thie in Franklin
County, Indiana. Irvin proudly
served in the United States
Army from February of 1954
to January of 1956 and was
stationed in Augsburg,
Yermany.
He is survived by his wife

Vyona (Dennis)
Hetzendorfer, Cooper City,
Fla.Z son, Daryl (Penny)
Thie, Newberry, Fla.Z two
grandsons, Eric Hetzendorfer
and Kevin HetzendorferZ two
Allan Jay Clark II
Allan Jay Clark II was born
in Deadwood, Sept. 9, 1936,
to Bernard S. Clark and
Martha Stoecker Clark. He
graduated from Spearfish
High School in 1954. After
two years at the
University of the
South, Sewanee,
Tenn., he enlisted
in the
United States
Marine
Corps,
where he
attained the
rank of
Corporal.
He earned
his bachelor
and master
degrees from
the University
of South Dakota
and was graduated
from Miami University
of Ohio with a Doctorate
without Dissertation.
He taught high school in
Sheridan, Wyo. He married
Julie Rex Akins, in 197,. She
preceded him in death in
1995. He served as a park
ranger at the Little Bighorn
Battlefield and at Cape
Hatteras. Allan taught history
at Montana State University-
Billings, until his retirement
in 1995. In 1997 he and
Tonia Fisher became man
and wife.
He is survived
by his wife
ToniaZ son,
BrooksZ grandson,
Daniel,
currently on
active duty
in the South
Carolina
National
Yuard. He is
also survived
by ChrisZ a
daughter,
Noelle Kent and
her husband Allen,
their son Maxwell
and daughter Frances.
Allan also leaves two sisters,
Martha Clark Brost (Frank)
of Rapid CityZ and Jane Clark
babel (Jack) of Hutchinson,
Kan.Z and numerous nieces
and nephews and close
friends.

History was not only his
passion but also his vocation.
His service in the USMC and
being in Marine Corps
Recruit Depot band were the
highlights of his life. He was
active at King of Ylory
Lutheran Church, and was an
avid student of history and
politics and enjoyed the
adventure of world travel
with his wife, Tonia. Allan
was especially close to
daughter, Noelle, who lives in
Billings and took great
delight in his grandchildren.
He gave the gift of sight,
by donating his corneas, so he
could share his love of reading.
Cremation has taken
place and a celebration of
Allan's life will be held at 11
am on Monday, the15th, the
Ides of March, at King of
Ylory Lutheran Church, 4125
Yrand Avenue. A luncheon
will follow. In lieu of flowers
please honor Allan's memory
with a contribution to the
charity of your choice. Smith
Downtown Chapel in Bilings,
Montana is in charge of
arrangements.
