• Several functional components comprise Managed <strong>PI</strong> 2.2<br />
– <strong>PI</strong> Diagnostics Service (PDS)<br />
• The Diagnostics Service collects <strong>in</strong>formation from <strong>in</strong>dividual managed nodes<br />
– <strong>PI</strong> Diagnostics Manager (PDM)<br />
• The <strong>PI</strong> Diagnostics Manager aggregates this <strong>in</strong>formation and sends it to <strong>the</strong> NOC<br />
– <strong>PI</strong> Diagnostics Client (PDC)<br />
• Configures both <strong>the</strong> <strong>PI</strong> Diagnostics Service and <strong>the</strong> <strong>PI</strong> Diagnostics Manager<br />
• No longer requires stor<strong>in</strong>g performance data <strong>in</strong> <strong>PI</strong> po<strong>in</strong>ts<br />
• Supports send<strong>in</strong>g performance data to <strong>the</strong> NOC via <strong>PI</strong> Agent<br />
• PDM function does not need to be <strong>in</strong>stalled on a <strong>PI</strong> Server<br />
