Are You a First-Time
Freshmen at WSU?
All first-time freshmen are required to attend
Resident Orientation and New Student Days.
Resident Orientation is an opportunity for new students to socialize with other residents, learn about the campus and GET
INVOLVED while learning how to be a successful member of the campus community. Resident Orientation is MANDATORY. It
is followed up with New Students Days, required for all new WSU students. New Student Days allow students to learn more
about classes, university requirements and campus resources to be a successful student. It is also a time where students
