Types <strong>of</strong> nerve cells, electrical properties <strong>of</strong> nerve cells, properties <strong>of</strong> mixed nerves,<br />
Reflex action, degeneration and regeneration <strong>of</strong> nerve, control <strong>of</strong> posture, outline <strong>of</strong><br />
Voluntary movement, cutaneous, deep, and superficial sensation, synaptic transmission,<br />
neuromuscular junction, properties <strong>of</strong> muscles, contractile response, types <strong>of</strong> contraction.<br />
RESPIRATION<br />
Mechanics <strong>of</strong> respiration, breath sounds, exchange <strong>of</strong> gases, lung volumes, lung compliance,<br />

balance, artificial respiration.<br />
