NO MORE THAN TWO SOUND OFFS PER PERSON PER WEEK!
ONE SOUND OFF PER CALL!
Concerning the Sound Off from last week. How could
anyone who took a vow of honor in a marriage lie to this
extent? What type of individual has a mind set that stealing
from your partner is ok in any way, shape or form. I was
disgusted as well and feel this person is one that I personally
would never trust in any situation, if she can do this to
someone she says she loves, one can only imagine what she
could do if needing money to people she doesn't feel
connected to.
As far as the recent SO's about those who have been under
investigation many times for drug related charges, I have to
agree with one. I am in my late sixties, I four children and
nine grand children. I nor any of my children or grand
children have ever been in "the headlines" nor have been
convicted of drug crimes. To be frank, I have never had
friends who have been in this position either, in our entire
lives. Sometimes people want to blame others for their
mistakes in life and choose the victim role. If people wish not
to have records, then they must make good choices, if not,
only bad can come out of it.
I have personal knowledge of a co-worker's affair with the
boss. She brags constantly about what she receives, secret
trips, diamonds and most recently a new car. Never once
have I heard regret or remorse. The kicker is her blatant
disregard for the family photo that hangs on the bosses wall,
or his lack of respect for his wife of over ten years and his
children! I need my job, I have my own children to feed, but I
will say this, when I am ready to walk, I will be ready to talk!
Everyone will know about these two.
I read Sound Off each and every week. Those sounding off
over the last couple of years about the current administration
seem to be more agitated than ever. I for one am very happy
just to have food on the table and happy children. We don''t
talk politics or watch the news for one reason, I do not want
my children growing up bitter and angry. Thank you.
I want everybody to read this. I am so sick and tired of people
accusing me of letting my dog crap on their lawn. Who said
it was my dog? Why is my dog the only one who is on a
leash? I am also sick and tired of people letting twenty
people in their apartments and getting by with it. They never
pay the rent and yet they can still live their. Also, it angers
me when people can let their kids skip school everyday and
the Welfare will not do anything about it. They come onto
my property and touch my car when they have no money to
pay for it. I would also like the person who stole the speakers
off my lawn to either pay $300 dollars for them or give them
back. I do not know who you are but you trespassed on my
property and you stole something that belongs to me. And
anybody who is smoking crack and drinking alcohol in or
near the apartments needs to get kicked out. And another
thing, I wish somebody would do something about the idiots
who are putting holes in the walls of their apartments or
have a satellite attached to the building. They are destroying
personal property and they get by with it.
Something else I forgot to mention. Everybody needs to start
parking on their own side of the street. And anybody who
has garbage on their back balcony, I want something done
about that too.
I love those who are incredibly nasty in nature, who live for
drama and to hurt others to get whatever they want, who will
lie, cheat and steal but throw God out of their mouth every
time it opens. Crazy, just crazy.
PIM Commissions
J.J. McAlester Statue in
Old Town
Pride In McAlester worked
with chainsaw artist Clayton Coss and the owners of the
historic J.J. McAlester home to create a statue of the city
founder. After a tree in front of the historic home died last
summer, the property owners and PIM worked together on an
"Scenic, Open Space, Preservation and Conservation
Easement." This agreement allows PIM to control the statue
and ensures enjoyment of the statue for visitors as long as the
art remains in its current location. This beautiful piece of art
demonstrates the history, culture, and pride of McAlester!
Well, we have all heard that the post office is in financial
problems. My question is, why did hey sponsor Lance
Armstrong at the tune of 30 Million dollars if they are in such
financial trouble. I understand he offered to give 5 million of
it back and they are going to sue him from what I hear. Now
postage has gone up again, are we paying for an attorney for
money that should not have been spent in the first place? I
would like to know. Thank you.
