just animals, and has anyone seen a homeless person with a 

pet? Was this person serious? A large amount of homeless 

people have pets because their pets love them no matter who 

they are or where they live. Not only that, this person must be 

one of the lucky ones who has that someone special who 

greets them at the door every time they come home with a big 

hug and an “I love you.” Your special, because a lot of us just 

have our pets to greet us with “unconditional love” at the 

door. But they’re just pets, right?

nerve in me! I think it is disgusting! Wasn’t there an oath of 

ethics taken to heal, not to destroy lives? These physicians

someday will get a massive civil lawsuit slapped on them!

*It’s a shame that Pittsburg County does not have a Humane 

Society. I would like to call attention to the 3 horses on South 

7th in Hartshorne. One horse is out on a vacant lot with no 

shelter at all and is wading in mud up to it’s ankles everyday, 

this has been going on for several weeks. The other 2 horses 

are a couple of blocks South. They are in separate pins about 

20 feet across and have no shelter at all and are also wading in 

mud and horse feces. This has been going on all winter! Does 

the owner no know that this is animal cruelty? I would like 

someone to drive by and take a look at this!

Prep Time: 8 Minutes 

Cooking Time: 25 Minutes (Includes Prep Time) Serving Size: 4 

Ingredients 

1/2 cup biscuit baking mix 1 cup cheddar cheese, finely grated 

3/4 cup whole milk 

2 tablespoons butter, melted 

1/8 teaspoon garlic powder 1/4 cup butter melted 

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley flakes 

dash of salt Procedures. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. 

Combine biscuit baking mix with cheddar cheese, milk, 2 

tablespoons of butter that has been melted in the 

microwave, and 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder in a medium 

bowl. Mix until well-combined. 

Drop approximately 1/4-cup portions of the dough onto an 

Ungreased cookie sheet. 

Combine 1/4 cup butter with 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 

parsley flakes and salt. Brush this mixture over the tops of 

each unbaked biscuit. 

Bake for 14 to 16 minutes or until the tops of the biscuits
