regions are listed in <strong>the</strong> Opportunities by project type, under <strong>the</strong> region<br />

name. For example, if you are interested in projects in Yuma, look under<br />

Nor<strong>the</strong>ast opportunities. If you have questions or need assistance, call<br />

waders recommended. Dress warmly; bring<br />

warm drinks. Project lasts about 10 – 20 days,<br />

but date or duration is dependent on wea<strong>the</strong>r<br />

and numbers spawned.<br />

Two volunteers per day at each site to assist<br />

w/setting & pulling gill nets.<br />

Work with biologists in a lab to process<br />

samples, enter and file whirling disease data,<br />

and perform general lab procedures such as<br />

disinfection, maintenance <strong>of</strong> water baths,<br />

weighing chemicals, and fixing lab equipment.<br />

Help employees clean, feed, weigh, and move<br />

fish. Help with any seasonal maintenance.<br />
