Intensive<br />
The two-step DuoClean intensive cleaning process is the ideal solution for<br />
reprocessing instruments that are extremely hard to clean due to their design<br />
or are contaminated by dried on blood or protein residues. You can<br />
normally dispense with ultrasonic pre-cleaning a<strong>nd</strong> po<strong>nd</strong>erous after<br />
cleaning. The two-step DuoClean process allows an optional dosing of<br />
oxidizing agent to the seco<strong>nd</strong> cleaning step. 1<br />
Highly effective<br />
• Highly alkaline (pH-value > 11), based on sodium hydroxide solution<br />
with surfactants.<br />
• Free of silicates – no formation of layers when carrying over the<br />
cleaner to the final rinse.<br />
• Fast hydrolysis, degradation a<strong>nd</strong> removal of persistent dried on<br />
organic residues such as proteins a<strong>nd</strong> lipids.<br />
• A good depletion of proteins supports the prophylaxis against prions<br />
in accordance with the guidelines of the German Robert Koch-Institute.<br />
• Suitable for all types of washer disinfectors (incl. tunnel washer<br />
disinfectors).<br />
• Suitable for instruments made from stainless steel a<strong>nd</strong> titanium,<br />
incl. MIS a<strong>nd</strong> microsurgery.<br />
• Not suitable for aluminium a<strong>nd</strong> anodized aluminium.<br />
