UN/EDIFACT D97.A <strong>DELFOR</strong> - <strong>Delivery</strong> schedule message<br />

ORDER The entity contains the information about the goods ordered to allow<br />

ITEM reference to the correct order item specified in the order message as<br />

agreed between the customer and the supplier (seller).<br />

DELIVERY This entity provides the information about a requested delivery, such<br />

SCHEDULE as the quantity, the date/time/period, and the level of commitment.<br />

DETAILS<br />

SYNCHRONISATION This entity provides the cumulative quantities taken into<br />

INFORMATION account for the calculation of the revised delivery schedule<br />

details.<br />

RECEIVED - This entity gives information about the previous received and/or<br />

DESPATCHED despatched quantities taken into account for the calculation of the<br />

QUANTITIES delivery schedule details of the order item.<br />

DELIVERY This entity contains a set of data defining the maximum and minimum<br />

VARIANCE quantities for delivery during a specific period or per type of sub-<br />

RESTRICTIONS period. For example the minimum and maximum quantity to be<br />

delivered during any week of a specific period.<br />

LABELLING This entity is used to describe either the handling unit or a<br />

PACKAGING package type and can be used to specify the labelling information.<br />

INFORMATION<br />

COMPANY This entity identifies the parties with associated information, such as<br />

name and address, contact details and communication types and<br />

numbers. This can be the customer, supplier, consignor, consignee,<br />

manufacturer, etc ... .<br />

MESSAGE & This entity contains all the references to another message or<br />

DOCUMENT document. For example contract, order, previous delivery schedule.<br />

DELIVERY SCHEDULE - CONSIGNEE<br />

- Direction from <strong>Delivery</strong> schedule to Consignee.<br />

A <strong>Delivery</strong> schedule can relate to one or more Consignees.<br />

The information concerning the delivery request of a Consignee belongs to one <strong>Delivery</strong><br />

schedule.
