7.4 Mixed zone<br />

7. <strong>Media</strong> services<br />

the mixed zone is located below the stand at the only point of exit for the athletes<br />

upon completion of their event. Access for media is via a dedicated stairway from the<br />

media tribune at section o, below the commentary positions. Host broadcaster and<br />

rights-holding television and radio have the opportunity to speak to the athletes first,<br />

followed by the written media.<br />

7.6 Press conference<br />

the official Championship press conference will be held on thursday 28 february at<br />

14:00 at the Victory Ceremony podium in the Market Square, the Swedish exhibition &<br />

Congress Centre. entrance is through the <strong>Media</strong> Centre or through the public entrance.<br />

Accreditation badge or press credentials compulsory. there are no automatic press conferences<br />

planned following each final.<br />

7.7 Press lunch<br />

the City of gothenburg will host a press lunch before the official press conference on<br />

thursday 28 february at 13:00 in the Market Square food court. If you wish to attend,<br />

please email in advance to: anica.stenberg@goteborg.com<br />

7.8 oMeGa <strong>Media</strong> race<br />

the press is invited to participate in an 800m race on Sunday 3 March between sessions.<br />

entries are made in the <strong>Media</strong> Centre and should include name, country and personal best.<br />
