It’s a big headache as quoted from the final year students when facing
with ‘Statistical Product and Service Solutions’ or simply known as SPSS. It’s a
frequent problem faced by the students doing the Final Year Project (FYP). Don’t
you think that SPSS can be annoying, especially to the final year students who is
doing their FYP? Well, you are not alone in facing this kind of problem. Some may
agree that it is easier to use SPSS compared to other software. But to others who
does not even understand the benefits of SPSS may feel miserable. Nevertheless, the
usages of SPSS are unavoidable as it provides important data for the final year
students’ projects. Is there any alternative to SPSS? The answer is ‘NO’ for the
students who are doing in quantitative methods. There’s must be the reasons this
kind of situation happened. There are no specific classes to learn this thing. The
managements (refers to the University) did not apply this subject into the
curriculum. Then, mostly, this subject only really applies during students doing their
Final Year Project. And then FYP normally did during the final year of studies.
