Circus Of Horrors: Curse Of The Devil Doll Belgrade Theatre, Coventry, Wed 14 <strong>Nov</strong>ember; Civic Hall, Wolverhampton, Fri 25 January An off-kilter affair that bears more resemblance to a freak show than any modern definition of a circus, the Circus of Horrors is a side-step into a world beyond both political correctness and good taste. It brings together all the more extreme acts associated with circus and takes them to the edge of reason. This latest production is described by its publicity as ‘a whirlwind journey though 1927 Berlin, between world wars in the roaring twenties, a decadent decade and the birth of the Cabaret’.
