Advanced Tactical Training Area
and various concrete control structures.
Location: Elim, Alaska
Repair and reconstruct a public airport located in a remote area of
Northwest Alaska in Norton Bay, about 100 miles east of Nome.
Scope of work included:
- Repair and reconstruction of a public airport
- Extend an existing 3,000-foot long runway to 3,400 feet, and widen it
from 60 feet to 75 feet
- Install a new lighted wind-cone and segmented circle
- Install new airport lighting, a rotating beacon and an electrical
equipment enclosure.
Location: New Stuyahok, Alaska
Construction of the New Stuyahok Airport Access Road.
Scope of work included:
- Construction of 2.9 kilometers of road, beginning at the existing runway
and heading northwest to the location of the new airport.
