Summer is approaching in Scandinavia, which means
we’ll soon be outdoors enjoying our meals. In this issue
we’ll be looking at the local produce available in all the
country’s restaurants and bars.
We’ll also discuss the Swedish tradition of midsummer and how
we’ve celebrated it here in the north since ancient times. We’ll
draw attention to a few new restaurants around the country,
some with exciting and unexpected destinations, such as Söderarm,
famous for always getting a mention on the weather station
and in the shipping forecasts.
Liseberg Wärdshus at the legendry Liseberg amusement park.
Also in Göteborg we sample the delights
on offer at Thörnströms Kitchen. And for
something completely different we visit
The Swedish Club on Rue de Rivoli in
Paris. Have a happy summer
