while it’s true “there’s no
place like home,” and the
majority of Hospice &
Community Care patients
prefer to receive hospice care at home,
there may come a time when another
level of care is needed to manage
symptoms. For these patients and their
families, compassionate care is available
at Hospice & Community Care’s Essa
Flory Hospice Center in Lancaster
and the Bob Fryer & Family Inpatient
Center in Mount Joy.
Designed to feel like home, the
Hospice Inpatient Centers feature large,
brightly-decorated rooms, private baths
and patios, and plenty of comfortable
space for family and friends. Stained
glass windows, rose gardens, wandering
paths and fountains add to the warm,
calming atmosphere.

The Inpatient Centers and fullyequipped
kitchens are available 24
hours a day for families and visitors to
spend time together. Families are also
welcome to bring beloved pets along
on visits.
