WANI, Ayjaz Ahmad<br />

Research scholar affiliated with the Centre <strong>of</strong> Centre Asian <strong>Studies</strong> (University <strong>of</strong> Kashmir,<br />

Srinagar). Received B. Ed., M.A. and M. Phil. degrees from the same university. Currently is<br />

pursuing a Ph.D. engagement at the Centre <strong>of</strong> Centre Asian <strong>Studies</strong> (University <strong>of</strong> Kashmir,<br />

Srinagar) with the theme: “Socio-Economic Transformation in Xinjiang during the 20 th century: A<br />

Study <strong>of</strong> Kashgar, Yarkand, Urmuchi and Turfan”. Author <strong>of</strong> several scientific papers in the area <strong>of</strong><br />

women in Uzbekistan and religious change in Uzbekistan.<br />

WARJRI, Jobeth Ann<br />

Ms. Warjri is a Ph.D research scholar in the Department <strong>of</strong> English, University <strong>of</strong> Hyderabad,<br />

India. She has completed her Master degrees at the North Eastern Hill University (Shillong,<br />

Meghalaya, India) majoring in English literature in 2010. Her interest is in poetry, and African<br />

American poetry in performance is the broad area <strong>of</strong> her current research.<br />
