Comfort begins at the front axle<br />

The hydropneumatic independent wheel<br />

suspension on the front axle has a 300 mm<br />

suspension travel, which is the longest of any<br />

standard tractor. The fully automatic level control<br />

ensures a constant suspension travel up<br />

to a maximum front axle load of eight tonnes.<br />

When mounting ballast weight, changing tyres,<br />

etc., the entire suspension travel can be run<br />

through manually. The front axle suspension<br />

can be locked to allow exact implement control<br />

A combination of suspension systems<br />

The combination of shock load stabilising,<br />

x5-cab with pneumatic suspension and independent<br />

wheel front axle suspension with<br />

level control, provides ride comfort on par<br />

with commercial vehicles. This also increases<br />

safety substantially, since the vehicle is not in<br />

danger of developing bounce when driving<br />

with mounted implements.<br />
