EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS<br />
<strong>Ferris</strong> offers more than 170 educational programs through the Colleges of Health Professions, Arts and<br />
Sciences, Business, Education and Human Services, Engineering Technology, Pharmacy, Kendall College<br />
of Art and Design, and Michigan College of Optometry at <strong>Ferris</strong> <strong>State</strong> <strong>University</strong>. <strong>Ferris</strong> also has<br />
programs and course offerings through the offices for Retention and Student Success and Extended and<br />
International Operations. These offerings lead to bachelor and associate degrees and certificates.<br />
Master degrees in Information Security and Intelligence, Career and Technical Education, Criminal<br />
Justice, Business Administration, Curriculum and Instruction, Nursing, and Fine Arts are available. <strong>Ferris</strong><br />
also offers doctorate degrees in Optometry, Pharmacy and Community College Leadership.<br />
Each college encompasses a cluster of related programs that are targeted to prepare students for<br />
specific careers, responsible citizenship and lifelong learning. The colleges operate in facilities that have<br />
been specially designed and equipped to support their missions.<br />
ENTERTAINMENT UNLIMITED<br />
Entertainment Unlimited (EU), the campus programming board, is responsible for coordinating more<br />
than 20 student-produced events each year including educational speakers, comedy shows, films,<br />
novelties and live music performances. The largest event produced by EU is <strong>Ferris</strong> Fest, a free<br />
community concert held outdoors in the North Quad every year during Spring Semester.<br />

GENERAL INFORMATION<br />
More than 89% of the students presently enrolled in a degree-granting program at <strong>Ferris</strong> <strong>State</strong><br />
<strong>University</strong> receive some type of financial aid through federal, state, institutional, private and other<br />
sources including: scholarships, grants, loans, and student employment. <strong>Ferris</strong> <strong>State</strong> <strong>University</strong> awards<br />
more than $177 million in student aid annually.<br />
Financial aid is primarily based on financial need and is intended to assist students whose families lack<br />
the total resources needed to pay for college. Information on financial aid programs available at <strong>Ferris</strong><br />
