Ghosts, Panthers and Voices at the Kallet<br />
<strong>Summer</strong> <strong>2012</strong> - <strong>Madison</strong> <strong>Cortland</strong> <strong>ARC</strong> - 5<br />
The Sunshine Choir along with Stageworks, The Arc Oneida Lewis performed a Spring Concert at the Kallet Civic Center in Oneida. The choir opened the show with”America The Beautiful/Star Spangled<br />
Banner” on the left. The Wind Dancers, danced to “The Pink Panther”. Mighty Fortress, right, knew who to call for their act, the“Ghost Busters”. Below: The audience from the choirs point of view,<br />
Konosioni Society<br />
<strong>Madison</strong> <strong>Cortland</strong> <strong>ARC</strong> received a grant from the Konosioni Society, Senior Honor<br />
Society at Colgate University, in the amount of $2,000. This grant was used to purchase<br />
equipment to assist people the <strong>ARC</strong> serves in learning to garden, harvest, and cook foods that<br />
they have grown.<br />
A garden area was provided at Alternatives on Broad Street in Oneida. Throughout the<br />
spring and early summer participants learned to plant seeds, nurture plants, and now they are<br />
harvesting vegetables!<br />

In 2011, the cast of “Aladdin” in a group cheer before the curtain goes up on their<br />
premier performance. On August 20, <strong>2012</strong> <strong>ARC</strong>’s Theater People will present “Belle and<br />
the Beast” at 7pm, St. Paul’s Church, on Sayles St. The theater project is made possible<br />
by funds from New York State Council on the Arts Decentralization Grant Program, a<br />
State Agency and the Cultural Resources Council a Regional Arts Council.
