CARMICHAEL BLOVIS HA RD AT CUBA CONFERENCE
Stoke y Carmichael, former chairman of
the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee,
is curr©ntly in Havana, Cubm,
attending a conference of the Latin American
Organization of Solidarity .
Prensa Latino, the Cuban press agency,
quoted Cannichael as saying, "we are
preparing groups of urban guerrillas for
our defense in the cities . The price of
these rebellions is a high price that
ono must, pay . This fight is not going
to be a simple street meeting . Tt is
going to be a fight to the death ."
Brother Stokely visited Puerto Rico
earlier this yoar, and he is reported to
be leaving for Hanoi, Democratic Republic
of Vietnam, later this week far a
visit.
