In <strong>the</strong> spring <strong>of</strong> 2006, <strong>the</strong> FIA embarked on a $10 million<br />
Endowment Campaign to raise funds to generate<br />
additional annual operating income for <strong>the</strong> expanded<br />
facility. To date, 254 donors have contributed $7,473,159<br />
towards <strong>the</strong> goal.<br />
The Endowment Campaign includes monies raised<br />
through <strong>the</strong> sponsorship <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>ater seats, grant awards,<br />
direct and planned gifts (Renaissance Society) as well as<br />
naming opportunities.<br />
The Renaissance Society consists <strong>of</strong> individuals that have<br />
notified <strong>the</strong> FIA <strong>of</strong> a planned contribution through <strong>the</strong>ir<br />
estate. This program enables <strong>the</strong> FIA to acknowledge<br />
and work with Society members. Planned Giving has a<br />
positive impact on <strong>the</strong> preservation and growth <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> FIA<br />
contributing $1.5 million to <strong>the</strong> current funds raised in <strong>the</strong><br />
Endowment Campaign.<br />
