3 children’s classes Children ages 4–12 attend these classes independently. Parents and guardians may tour the FIA galleries, relax in the student lounge or take an adult family block class at the same time. AGES 4–5 Halloween Ghosts & Goblins project Everyday Animals Rebecca Andrus Moo, cluck, woof! Animals are friends and companions, helpers and faithful workers. On the farm and at home, animals make life better. The shapes, colors, textures, patterns, and sounds of cats, dogs, cows, and horses will inspire art explorations in the studio and gallery. Baaa! Fairies & Magical Creatures Rebecca Andrus What’s the difference between a fairy, an elf, and a gnome? Explore the world of imaginary creatures through folklore, stories, and art. Invent a unicorn puppet; create delicate flowers; and design fairy fashions and a fairy dwelling.
