Michael Kistler<br />
DIRECTOR, MODEL SOLUTIONS, RMS<br />
Michael has served at RMS for four years, currently as Director <strong>of</strong> Model Solutions in New Jersey, taking a lead role in<br />
outreach to rating agencies and regulators, with a focus on model usage and best practice. During the version 11.0 release,<br />
Michael drove industry communications and sales enablement, focusing on client changes in results for the 2011 Atlantic<br />
Basin Hurricane Model among RMS’ Americas clients. Prior to working as part <strong>of</strong> the model marketing team, Michael<br />
was the business owner <strong>of</strong> the RMS Weather Risk product line, managing an industry-leading suite <strong>of</strong> futures portfolio<br />
management s<strong>of</strong>tware and data products. Michael earned his M.S. degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from MIT.<br />
Vaughn Jensen<br />
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT, WILLIS RE<br />
Vaughn is responsible for Willis Re’s Catastrophe Management Services (CMS) team within the United States. The<br />
CMS team provides catastrophe exposure and loss analyses, catastrophe risk management best practices advice<br />
and consulting for Willis Re Property, Life Accident & Health, and Casualty clients / prospects.<br />
Vaughn joined Willis Re in 2002 and has sixteen years <strong>of</strong> experience in catastrophe modeling. Previously, Vaughn<br />
was employed by St. Paul Companies as a Senior Catastrophe Analyst focusing on corporate catastrophe risk<br />
management and analyses <strong>of</strong> large accounts for pricing associated with natural catastrophes. Vaughn began his<br />
career in the insurance industry with BlueCross BlueShield where he held the position <strong>of</strong> Project Manager / Senior<br />
Research Analyst. Vaughn earned his B.A. degree in Economics from South Dakota State University.<br />

Marian Johnson<br />
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, POLITICAL STRATEGY, FLORIDA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE<br />
Marian Johnson is Senior Vice President <strong>of</strong> Political Strategy for the <strong>Florida</strong> <strong>Chamber</strong> <strong>of</strong> Commerce. She also serves<br />
as the Executive Director <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Florida</strong> <strong>Chamber</strong> Political Institute, a unique research organization that provides<br />
vital detailed demographic and political analysis to its members.<br />
Johnson, perhaps <strong>Florida</strong>’s most seasoned political advisor, has been involved in an impressive number <strong>of</strong><br />
presidential, state and local campaigns. Her budding career started in 1964 as a high school senior. Johnson has<br />
been involved with every presidential campaign from 1964 through 1984.<br />
From 1985 to 1992, Johnson served as Executive Director <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Florida</strong> Lawyers Action Group. While employed with<br />
this group, Johnson managed and directed a triumphant multi-million dollar statewide amendment campaign in 1988.<br />
In December <strong>of</strong> 1993, Johnson created and managed <strong>Florida</strong> Business United, a research organization and the political<br />
arm <strong>of</strong> Associated Industries <strong>of</strong> <strong>Florida</strong>. She also served as Senior Vice President <strong>of</strong> Associated Industries <strong>of</strong> <strong>Florida</strong> Service<br />
Corporation, where she developed and implemented a one-<strong>of</strong>-a-kind tracking mechanism consisting <strong>of</strong> a six-week polling<br />
program for statewide <strong>of</strong>fi ces. Results were featured statewide and nationally on political broadcasts <strong>of</strong> CNN and C-Span.<br />
After a short “retirement” during the summer <strong>of</strong> 2003 to spend time with her grandkids, Johnson was recruited<br />
to join the <strong>Florida</strong> <strong>Chamber</strong> <strong>of</strong> Commerce. She currently serves as the executive director <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Florida</strong> <strong>Chamber</strong><br />
Political Institute, a unique research organization that provides vital detailed demographic and political analysis to its<br />
members. She also serves as Senior Vice President <strong>of</strong> Political Strategy for the <strong>Florida</strong> <strong>Chamber</strong> <strong>of</strong> Commerce.
