Northl<strong>and</strong>s Association for Special <strong>Recreation</strong> (NASR)<br />
Northl<strong>and</strong>s Association for Special <strong>Recreation</strong> (NASR) is a cooperative partnership between the<br />
Rockford, <strong>Freeport</strong> <strong>and</strong> Belvidere <strong>Park</strong> <strong>District</strong>s (referred to as member district) . NASR programs are<br />
open to any individual with disability-related special needs such as physical, mental <strong>and</strong> developmental<br />
disabilities <strong>and</strong> persons with mental illness, behavior disorders, visual <strong>and</strong> hearing impairments .<br />
Member district residents are invited to participate in specialty/therapeutic (TR) programs offered through any member district at<br />
the resident rate . For participation in Inclusion Services at a member district other than your own member district, you must pay<br />
the non-resident rate for that specific program .<br />

Do you love music, dancing, <strong>and</strong> socializing with friends? If so, grab your partner <strong>and</strong> come on over to the <strong>Freeport</strong><br />
<strong>Park</strong> <strong>District</strong> Special <strong>Recreation</strong> Dances! Every month we have a themed dance full of fun <strong>and</strong> excitement . Each<br />
dance is complete with music, decorations <strong>and</strong> a light snack . Feel free to dress to the theme!<br />
