DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR, PEEL DEVELOPMENTS
Lindsey Ashworth is Development Director of Peel. He has worked for Peel Holdings
since 1989. A Chartered Surveyor and Chartered Architectural Technologist (MRICS
& MCIAT), Mr Ashworth is responsible for the longer term, pioneering, larger
developments in the UK and Overseas. In the UK his main developments are located
in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Gloucester, Liverpool and Wirral and overseas in Spain. A full
range of uses are incorporated, including retail, leisure, hotel, cinema, bars, cafes,
restaurants, offices, residential, etc. The direct investment value of these developments
exceeds £20 billion but the potential expansion/growth is considerably higher. The
ethos of Peel’s developments is to ensure high quality design and materials and to regenerate in a sustainable
manner its own and surrounding land.

GUY BUTLER
SENIOR DEVELOPMENT MANAGER, GROSVENOR
Guy Butler is Senior Development Manager at Grosvenor working on Liverpool ONE,
the largest city centre mixed use development in the UK. Mr Butler graduated from
Reading University where he read Land Management, and later read European Property
Investment at City University, London. After University he worked as a Consultant in
a planning practice for two years (Turnberry Consulting, London) concentrating on
the Sport and Education sectors, where his clients included Oxford University, Ascot
Racecourse and the Rugby Football League. He joined Grosvenor in 1999 to work
on Festival Place, Basingstoke and Grand Arcade, Cambridge, both large mixed use
developments. Upon the completion of Festival Place in 2002, Mr Butler moved on to Liverpool ONE, where
he heads the development team, responsible for site acquisition, joint ventures, commercialisation, planning,
residential sales and development, relationships with funding partners and the City Council, and other
commercially focused areas.
