Auxiliary Slate of Proposed Officers Bobby Rickman The Nominating Committee proposes the following slate of nominees for the open Auxiliary offices for the period July 1, <strong>2012</strong> through June 30, 2014. These nominees will be voted on at the election to be held at the Annual General Membership Meeting in June. Nominations may be made from the floor provided the consent of the nominees has been obtained previously in writing. Slate of Officers: President-elect: Ellen Noland Corresponding Secretary: Betty Klug Treasurer: Julane Anderson Ellen Noland is currently 2 nd Vice President, in charge of membership and appreciation activities. She also works in the Gif Shop, at the Cancer Treatment Center, and on various fundraising projects. Betty Klug has chaired the Holiday Bazaar for two year. She has worked at the Select Seconds Sop for over five years and she makes baby quilts for the Billy Miller Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the hospital. Julane Anderson is currently Deputy Treasurer of the Auxiliary and has served as Treasurer of the Gift Shop for fifteen years. Nominating Committee Members: Donna Tisdale – Past Chairman Mary Lou Minnick – General Membership Jackie Owen – General Membership Doris Gassaway – Board of Directors Bobby Rickman – Board of Directors Gift Shop Wendy Brundage We are ready for the important days of late spring and summer. Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Graduations and Weddings are wonderful occasions and we have wonderful gifts for your special person or people in your life. And don’t forget we gift wrap for free. New items are arriving almost daily. Jim Shore figurines in many shapes and sizes will be in the shop by the time you receive this newsletter. Jewelry has always been a popular item. We have lots of jewelry perfect for the lazy days of summer. Our summer toys are a big hit among the younger set. We have QR slap bracelets for tweens and teens. You scan the QR code with a smart phone and you will get a web page set up by the wearer. It is different and a fun item embracing the technology of the 21st century! Stop on by to take a look. Reservations for the picnic must be made by May 9 th The amount of food purchased will be based on the number of reservations, so please call Ellen Noland 301- 831-6416 to cancel your reservation if you cannot attend.
