Each team must submit their BAT Mobile to FSEC the day of the EnergyWhiz Olympics. To submit the<br />

car, the team must be present the morning of the Olympics in order to allow a functionality assessment<br />

before FSEC impounds the car. The car will remain impounded until the scheduled time when the<br />

racing begins. During impoundment, selected judges will review each car for its quality, precision,<br />

durability, design concept, and safety.<br />

Each team must provide design notes for their car before being allowed to compete. The design<br />

document is not a daily journal. It is an engineering schematic. Minimum requirements include a cover<br />

page, essay detailing advantages and disadvantages of electric vehicles, complete component list for<br />

the vehicle, final specifications of the vehicle (body measurements, mass, gear ratio, drive type,<br />

average speed), scaled drawings, assembly procedures with photos, at least three issues or problems<br />

encountered and solutions applied, and an essay describing what was learned.<br />
