Locality: Lake Qarun ,Egypt<br />

Description:<br />

Only one Mugil cephalus was<br />

infected with one plasmodium <strong>of</strong><br />

this myxosporean.The cyst was<br />

embedded in the mesenteries <strong>of</strong><br />

the body cavity. Spores are oval to<br />

subspherical in frontal view. The<br />

polar capsules are pyriform,<br />

almost equal. Sporoplasm is<br />

binucleate and fills the all<br />

extracapsular space.
